Sleepless in Brussels...

I got sick in class today, very embarrassing and whatnot, I know. But anyway, I fell asleep way before my time and now I'm all...up...
Either way, you guys know that my life is mainly about music. I moved to a bigger school now and I'm trying to get people to get to know some new, alternative bands. The beauty of Fueled By Ramen and Decaydance is that they have music for every taste. The promoting is going slow, very slow mainly because of my poor connections. However I'm looking into a way to do things more effectively. I know this sounds big and pretentious and all... I'm not trying to be. I'm just trying to get the fire going for the bands here, on the mainland. I could be promoting concert tours and album releases. Unfortunately stores here don't sell the bands, just because nobody is interested. I am a member of the street team, but they don't do shows in my area that I can promote and there's only so many people I can tell about FBR and the bands.
So the motive: Promoting bands/ I want to do something for music and since I'm still in college I only have limited time and money on my hands to do so.
The goal: Get people to hop on the FBR train here on the mainland.
Things I need: People, flyers, stickers, banners, concerts and cd releases here in Belgium.
I will be getting started on things by putting up banners everywhere, including here, and by telling more people about the bands in question by wearing merch and sporting an unbelievable amount of buttons. I will also be luring people into my basement (no kidding) and I will be casually telling them about the bands hanging in my room.
It is all big and over the top, but FBR needs to take over this part of the world too. I will help doing so. More on this soon I hope.
If you want to do your part sign up here.

That's all peeps...
